Paul A Young Opens His Pop-Up Shop in The Folly
It seems that pop-up shops are becoming more popular with so many emerging for various retailers in various venues. More than a concession and yet not quite a permanent retail location, pop-up shops enable specvialist retailers to reach a different audience then they usually would as well as attracting a new audience to the premises they are located within.
One such pop-up is the Paul A Young pop-up shop within The Folly around the corner from Monument station (connected to Bank station). I’ve been to The Folly on a few occasions, one notable one with a friend where we munched and gossiped away a good four hours. It is a great place, low key and yet really nice. This is one of the places that will be carrying the hot chocolate I helped develop.
In addition to the completely unique hot chocolate, designed and developed for the Drake & Morgan group only, The Folly now boasts this lovely pop-up shop by Paul A Young, complete with fully trained staff and fully stocked larder plus the exclusive bar developed for the Folly pop-up shop. The bar is interesting but to me the pink peppercorn is quite strong and required a bit of brownie to calm it 😉 That was my excuse anyway and I’m sticking to it.
This lovely shop may have opened to kick-off chocolate week but it will be there until November so make sure to make a reservation, order yourself the hot chocolate I helped develop and enjoy a sea salt caramel just the way I would.
