gorvett and stone gingerbreadWhen I went down to visit the folks at Gorvett & Stone, I got the chance to try some of their gingerbread milk chocolate shards. I liked them so much I bought a pack to give away!

These shards are delicious and taste just like you’re eating gingerbread. They have, not just ginger and spices, but some treacle which I thought gave it that perfect gingerbread quality. Everything about these shards screams gingerbread. They are delicious bits of chocolate gingerbread sweet brilliance.

I just loved these shards and if you’d like to gab some you can buy them from Gorvett & Stone online or if you’d like to get your hands on this pack a bought, I wish I could get you to send me pictures of your gingerbread but instead in the comments section of this post tell me in 10 words or MORE what you love about Christmas!

What i love about Christmas- is 1) The giving- it feels so good 🙂 2) the receiving – that feels great too:) 3) The decorations- they are so pretty- i have loved them since i was a wee little girl- as a matter of fact: my mom wouldn’t get me any christmas stuff when i was little after my dad died- so, i saved all my pocket money- bought myself a tiny xmas tree, little bobbles, little lights and made my very own christmas just for me! 4) Snow 5) The xmas dinner- even having it alone it’s wonderful! 6) getting together with family 7) the xmas shows/movies on tv 8) NYC at xmastime, my fave place of all- so festive and fun!

    Thanks!

At Christmas, I love being with family, advent calendars, the lights and decorations, carols, cards, cocktails and, of course, chocolate.

What I love about Christmas is the fact that it is an ending and some kind of new beginning.

The shortest day of the year is just a little before Christmas. It goes away and days start getting longer and I love knowing that. 🙂

It also ends the pre-Christmas period which I really don’t like, because nowadays there’s so much hype around it… for commercial purposes. And there is so much hypocrisy, having relatives who don’t even remember my three-letter name pestering me to spend time with them. So when it’s over… I feel relieved and like I can finally some peace.
