It may be getting colder in the UK but the Chocolate Festival heats up the Southbank this weekend with chocolate stands, masterclasses, demonstrations and more!

You can join the likes of Paul A Young, Paul Wayne Gregory, Martin Christy, Damian Allsop, Bill McCarrick and others as they teach everyone about chocolate, distribute samples among the audience and explain why we, as consumers, should be paying more for quality chocolate and all about their own lovely chocolates.

The Chocolate Festival is the brainchild of Yael Rose. She has been running it biannually at Easter and Christmas for a number of years now and has been slowly helping to bring quality chocolate to the mass consumer. She has also given up chocolate until Easter in aid of a children’s charity. You can follow her progress on the Chocolate Festival website at www.festivalchocolate.co.uk/choccharity/

On Friday there was a real buzz about the place, with lots of people shopping, tasting, enjoying and buying and the shopping continues today until 8pm and Sunday until 6pm. With stalls offering chocolates for sale, samples, discounts, ice cream, deals and chocolate of the highest quality, it is the perfect place to get your Easter chocolate shopping done. Some of this isn’t available on the high stret so it is a must visit.

With a number of quality chocolate stands and a huge array of chcolate, booze and food on offer, the Southbank Chocolate Festival is certainly orth a visit. It is free to visit and is situated outside the Royal Concert Hll, close to Waterloo station (abut a 2 minute walk).
