high tea wyndhamWith the Olympics approaching, London has been getting quite a lot of attention this summer. Continuing this Lovin’ London trend,  Wyndham Grand London, Chelsea Harbour has teamed up with British master chocolatier Damian Allsop as he launches EAT LONDON, a new collection of chocolate bars created to celebrate London’s rich and diverse cultural mix.  Launching on the 1st June, the chocolate experiences include a specially created Damian Allsop EAT LONDON Afternoon Tea and chocolate master-class.

From 1 – 30 June, Wyndham Grand will be serving the EAT LONDON Afternoon Tea in their glass-fronted lounge overlooking Chelsea Harbour.  Inspired by the new collection of chocolate bars, which take flavours from the city’s different culture hubs (coffee and banana crunch for Brixton, ginger with peanut and soy for China Town), the tea will feature exclusive recipes by Allsop including Cockney scones – crumble-topped mini scones with fresh apple jam, a Brick Lane Mango Lassie Chocolate Pop and superb chocolate-coated pistachio ice-cream celebrating Edgware Road’s Arabic influences, which, in true Allsop fashion contains no actual cream.

high tea wyndhamExpect a full review of the tea to appear here shortly but in the meantime, if you’re interested in booking a spot of EAT LONDON afternoon tea (£28pp) visit www.wyndhamgrandlondon.co.uk or call +44(0)20 7823 3000.
