kentish chocolate covered cobnutsKeeping it British this Christmas – and really any time of the year –means you’re supporting local suppliers in local communities and feeding money back into that community. It’s a great way to give a gift to a lot of people this holiday season.

These Kentish cobnuts are something I was first introduced to at a Demarquette event where I got to taste them fresh roasted. As they are a relative of the hazelnut, they have an edge over which they can be over-roasted and under which they can be unpleasant. So I have to admit I was slightly hesitant before trying these. I needn’t have been!

These cobnuts were AMAZING (to me – your opinion may differ from mine). Slight caramelising on a perfectly roasted cobnut give this hazelnut relative a brilliant crunch. The dark Ecuadorian chocolate with its slight earthiness is the perfect complement to the cobnut in this case. Delicious, small and moreish so buy yourself extra 😉 these are absolutely brilliant for any time of the year but will be especially welcome at any holiday party!

Shop local for your parties, gifts and self this holiday season and BUY these COBNUTS online NOW 🙂
