Meat, Drink and be Merry with Young’s and Geronimo Game and Wine Nights
Pheasant greetings! Game season is on the horizon, and Young’s is here to turn you into a maestro of seasonal meats with a series of masterclasses and wine pairing nights at your local pub.
Right now until the end of October, Young’s and Geronimo pubs across London and the home counties will partner with family-run game specialist Blackmoor as well as Katnook and Deakin Estates, and Berkmann Wines to offer a tantalising night of food and wine you’ll be dying to sink your teeth into. Kicking off at The White Hart in leafy Barnes on 6th September, get your game on at some of Young’s very best pubs, from The Guinea in the heart of Mayfair to The Bear in idyllic Oxshott, Surrey.
Sit back with a drink in hand and let the experts talk you through the history of this wild game and how your meat gets from field to fork. Next up is a preparation demonstration of succulent meats including venison, pigeon and partridge, as well as a quick-fire Q&A with Blackmoor’s own game dealer, Chris Sole. Finally, a game dinner, incorporating quality cuts from Blackmoor Estates and a whole roster of perfectly-paired red and white wines, is sure to delight oenophiles and foodies alike.
