Widely regarded as one of the world’s most exciting and groundbreaking chocolatiers, Paul A Young is at the forefront of the British chocolate scene, regularly appears on television including recurring roles in BBC TV shows such as Made in Great Britain and The Sweet Makers, as well as regular appearances on This Morning, Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch and Good Morning Britain. With such an extremely delicious pedigree, you know anything from his shop is going to be awesome (excuse me as I purchase my usual 9-box of salted caramels…)

So what’s happening now? Well, prepare for a spooktacular Halloween with Paul A Young’s range of wicked chocolate treats that the whole family can dig their fangs into…. except of course not the dog… and seriously do get your kids into quality chocolate from a young age. They will eat less and enjoy it more and fewer children will end up in the slave trade because you’ll stop buying chocolate from the Ivory Coast… but I digress…

Paul has brought out an amazing holiday range for not just Christmas but for the holiday of the moment – Hallowe’en. The Hallowe’en collection includes:

Vampire Bat Caramel – Guittard 35% Soie Blanche white chocolate, strawberry purée, blackcurrant purée, sea salted caramel, pink peppercorns, and cayenne pepper, a devilish delight for the taste buds.
Pumpkin Pie Truffle – Duffy’s 55% Venezuela milk chocolate, Guittard 35% Soie Blanche white chocolate, pumpkin purée, feuilletine flakes, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
(If you’re shopping for these or any of his amazing Hallowe’en or Christmas range, Paul’s chocolates are priced at; 4 piece box £7, 9 piece £15.50, 16 piece £26, 25 piece £40 & 36 piece £56)
Haunted House – hollow Guittard 38% milk chocolate house with Valrhona 55% dark chocolate pearls, a decadent treat! £19.95
Three Spooky Skulls – set of three solid Guittard 35% white chocolate skulls, the perfect Halloween gift. £6.95
Pumpkin Spiced Lollies – a solid Guittard 38% milk chocolate lolly with nutmeg and cinnamon leaf oil, hand-decorated with fearsome faces. £3.95
Ghost Lollies – solid Guittard 35% white chocolate lolly. £3.95

All of the above are available from Paul’s two London chocolateries in Soho and Camden Passage. I miss Bank where they had pre-made boxes of salted caramels always ready… sighs
